AKRON, Ohio (Dec. 30, 2009) – Highland Public Relations has added Brandi Neloms as an assistant account executive to its staff.
Neloms assists with the day-to-day tasks of account services including copywriting, research, media relations and strategic communications plan development. She joined the Highland PR staff as an assistant account executive after interning as a marketing assistant with FirstMerit Bank of Akron. She graduated from Kent State University in August 2009, with a bachelor’s degree in public relations. While at Kent State, Neloms was an active member of the KSU Public Relations Student Society of America and was one of six students to win a PRSA East Central District Diamond Award.
In December, Highland PR was awarded a contract from Jerome Lippman Jewish Community Day School in west Akron. The agency also began marketing-communications work for Hattie Larlham in Mantua, Ohio this fall.
