Leigh manages clients day-to-day communications needs, including strategic planning, public relations, advertising, media buying and branding. Her experience in public relations as well as planning and managing marketing campaigns and budgets allows her to coordinate and execute every aspect of a client’s communications needs. Leigh is the account manager for several of our agency’s largest clients including the Akron Zoo and the Cleveland Marathon, both of which have won national awards for their advertising campaigns under her watch. Leigh also assists in responding to new business opportunities and manages personnel for our firm.
She serves as vice president of the board of directors of Habitat for Humanity of Summit County, where she chairs the PR committee and serves on the steering committee for the capital campaign. Leigh is also the communications chair of the American Advertising Federation of Akron. She serves on the committee for Akron Zoo's Summer Safari and is a member of Young Professionals of Akron.
She joined Highland PR with public relations and marketing experience both with an agency and a non-profit. She was director of media and community relations for the Akron Racers Foundation, where she managed all public relations for the non-profit organization as well as the women’s professional fastpitch team. She also spent time at the largest public relations firm in Cleveland as a full-time intern, assisting with large national accounts and managing non-profit and pro-bono accounts.
Leigh graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ashland University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Communications. As a member of the women’s volleyball team, she was nominated for Verizon Academic All-American.
