A communications professional with more than 15 years of involvement in higher education, Alan brings a wealth of experience in public relations, crisis communications, event management, writing, editing and managing budgets. He will assist in managing our clients' day-to-day communications needs, including strategic planning, public relations and branding.
Alan most recently worked as the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications at Kent State University, overseeing all of the department's external and internal communications efforts, including television, radio, website and social media, while also serving as the Athletics' liaison to various other departments on campus. He previously worked at Cleveland State University and The Pennsylvania State University.
In a dozen years in Cleveland, he has assisted in numerous high-profile sporting events in the area, including the NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament (2000, 2005 & 2011), the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Cleveland Regional (2006), the NCAA Division I Women's Final Four (2007), the Senior PGA Championship (2009) and the NCAA Division I Women's Gymnastics Championships (2011).
Alan graduated from the University of Virginia with a bachelor's degree in history.
